I am so excited about this project! A few of my friends are having babies this summer and I wanted to try a baby sweater, so what better time! I'm working on Diane Soucys
Easy Baby Cardigan and it really is pretty simple! I'm doing a newborn size in plain ol white because nobody knows the sex of their new baby, and my plan is to make gender specific ones after they arrive in a bigger size. My cardigan can be found
here.
Since I am a very visual learner I take a lot of pictures at different stages, it helps me when I can see what it should look like, and there aren't a lot of people who post like that.
The first part of the sweater is the hood, and after reading other projects and thinking it over, I wish I had done a provisional cast on, I think it will make seaming the hood much easier....anyway, I didn't take a picture of that part (sorry) but its basically just a square anyway..
This is after all the increases are finished and I'm ready to separate for the sleeves..

Stay tuned for part two
